Livery - Two Tone Green from new, BR Blue, Triple Grey w/Freightliner Decals August 95, 
Name - Unoficial name "SKYLARK" applied at Tinsley TMD on 21st Nov 1989. Names removed during overhaul August 1995. Named "Freightliner 1995" at Crewe Basford Hall open day on 28th August 1995. Names removed at Southampton Maritime between June and October 2001
Last working - 8th June 2001 : 20.27 Leeds - Southampton freightliner (4O07), in the Oxford area a piston dropped into the sump writing off the Sulzer 12LDA 28C engine. Assisted to Southampton by 57001

 

Notes

  • As per all of the 47/3 fleet, 47376 was built without train heating although the loco did carry boiler water tanks and a through steam pipe from new. These were removed during successive overhauls

  • 47376 was the first loco to carry Freightliner Triple Grey livery
